Need a tow in Cary, Raleigh or Durham? Call (919) 230-4498. WTF Towing runs 24 hours a day with our own trucks and our own drivers, and quotes the price before we roll.

Towing is the core of what we do: the car that died on US-1, the wreck on the I-440 Beltline, the SUV that won’t start in a Southpoint lot, the truck that needs to get to a shop in Apex before it opens. We move cars, SUVs, pickups, vans, all-wheel-drive vehicles, electric vehicles, motorcycles and medium-duty trucks across the Triangle, every day, at every hour.

Towing services

  • Breakdown towing — from wherever it stopped to your home, your shop, or a shop we trust.
  • Accident towing — from the scene to a body shop, a storage lot, or your insurer’s preferred facility, coordinated with police on the scene.
  • Flatbed towing on our rollback carriers for AWD vehicles, EVs, lowered cars, and anything that shouldn’t roll.
  • Wheel-lift towing with our Ram 5500 wrecker for quick hookups, parking decks and tight spots.
  • Medium-duty towing — box trucks, vans, small fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Motorcycle towing with proper tie-downs.
  • Shop, dealer and auction runs — scheduled transport when it doesn’t have to be right now.
  • Long-distance towing anywhere in North Carolina or out of state.

Flatbed or wheel-lift? We bring the right truck

Front-wheel-drive cars and most pickups tow fine on a wheel-lift. All-wheel-drive vehicles, electric vehicles, lowered cars and anything with drivetrain damage need a flatbed so the wheels aren’t turning on the road. Tell us what you drive when you call and the right truck comes the first time — that’s why we run both.

How it works

  1. Call (919) 230-4498 with your location, the vehicle, and where it needs to go. A cross street, exit number, business name or dropped pin all work.
  2. We quote the price upfront and give you a real ETA.
  3. On a highway, get as far right as you can, hazards on, and stay in the vehicle with your belt on. In a lot, wait somewhere safe. The driver calls when he’s close.
  4. We hook up, secure the vehicle, and deliver it where you said. If you don’t have a shop, we’ll recommend one.

What it costs

Towing service questions

How much does a tow cost in Cary?

It depends on the distance and the vehicle. We quote it before the truck rolls, and there’s no charge for asking.

Do you tow electric and all-wheel-drive vehicles?

Yes, on a flatbed rollback — the right way to move an EV or AWD vehicle without damaging the drivetrain.

Can you tow from an accident scene?

Yes, 24/7. We coordinate with police on the scene and take the vehicle to a body shop, storage, or your insurer’s facility.

Will you tow to a shop in another town?

Yes. Cary to anywhere in the Triangle is a normal run, and long-distance trips are quoted upfront.
