Where we work in Raleigh
I-40, the I-440 Beltline, I-540, Wade Avenue, Western Boulevard, Hillsborough Street and the NC State campus, Glenwood Avenue (US-70) from Crabtree Valley to Brier Creek, Capital Boulevard, Six Forks Road and North Hills, downtown Raleigh and the Village District, Trinity Road and the PNC Arena and Carter–Finley area, Tryon Road and South Raleigh, Garner Road, and the Glenwood South and Warehouse District parking decks. West Raleigh is closest to us and fastest; the rest of the city is a standard run.
Raleigh highways: what to do if you break down
On I-40, I-440 or I-540, get all the way onto the shoulder, put your hazards on, and stay in the vehicle with your seatbelt on. Don’t stand behind the car and don’t try to change a tire on the traffic side. Call us with the nearest exit number or mile marker and the direction you’re heading. Our drivers work feet from moving traffic — North Carolina’s Move Over law exists for them, so slow down and move over when you see amber lights ahead.
Based in the Cary–Morrisville area
Raleigh is a short run from our base in the Cary–Morrisville area, not a long one. When you call, you get which truck is coming and an honest ETA.
What happens when you call
1. You call
Tell us where you are and what's going on. A cross street, a business name, or a dropped pin all work.
2. You get the price
Upfront, before the truck rolls, with a real ETA.
3. We roll
The driver calls when he's close. On a highway shoulder, stay in the vehicle; in a lot, wait somewhere safe.
4. You're moving
We hook up, secure the vehicle, and take it home, to your shop, to the dealer, or to a shop we trust.

Raleigh towing questions
Which parts of Raleigh do you reach fastest?
West Raleigh, including NC State, PNC Arena, Crabtree and the I-40 and Wade Avenue corridors, because WTF Towing is based just west of the city.
Can you get my car out of a downtown parking deck?
Yes. The wheel-lift wrecker fits where a flatbed can’t.
Do you tow after an accident on the Beltline?
Yes, 24/7. Get to the shoulder, stay in the vehicle, and call with the nearest exit or mile marker.
Will you tow from Raleigh to Cary, Durham or out of town?
Yes. Triangle-wide tows are quoted upfront; long-distance runs go on a rollback carrier.

My wife and I were in an single car accident late at night. Casey, the driver for WTF Towing arrived before the ETA told to us by the insurance representative handling our claim. He was friendly and helped to calm our nerves on a cold night. He offered to change the tire, but I told him I wanted the car towed to a body shop for assessment. Once he towed our car to the body shop, he texted links to the name of the body shop website, a link of a map for the body shop, and the telephone number to WTF Towing. Casey and WTF Towing managed the tow like real professionals. Thank you Casey and WTF Towing!Posted on Google![]()
